The Eagles Are Hatching!

The eagles are hatching!  The Eaglecam at Alcoa DavenportWorks is capturing it all on live video.  Check it out, but be aware, it is a little addictive. You may not get much accomplished the rest of the day.

The eagles can STAY there! We had one fly over the farm last week as there was something dead in the neighbor's field (vultures were flying all around too). First time we've seen one here. Jeff said it looked like a Boeing 747 coming in for a landing! I do NOT want eagles anywhere near here during lambing season!

He/probably she (it was huge!) normally lives a few miles to the west of us as there is a pair or two out there. We've actually seen them and their nest by Clinton Falls.

Thank you, what a beautiful bird.
We don't have eagles in the Netherlands.

Many greetings, Hanny.
